We Almost Lost Detroit
Detroit is a unique example of how industrialization and capitalism can wreak as much havoc as they can bring positive change. The automotive industry that once called Detroit home has all but abandoned it, leaving a struggling economy and working-class that the current administration is doing little to help. The aftermath of this economic crumble is obvious throughout the city, as areas that have been untouched by gentrification are often largely abandoned. This series is aimed at exploring these neglected spaces throughout Detroit.
